Welcome to the 2010 Capital of Texas Triathlon
The Capital of Texas triathlon has become an exciting event that happens downtown in the Capital of Austin, Texas. Attracting first timers, relay-ers, age groupers, and Professional triathletes from around the globe. One of the most exciting and spectator friendly races in the country! Race, Watch, Volunteer, or Sponsor today! Races include - First Timers Tri, Sprint Triathlon, Olympic Triathlon, ITU, and Sprint and Olympic Relay.
Olympic Distance:
Olympic Distance Age Group awards will be given to the top 3 male and female finishers in their respective age groups.
Professionals and Elite Amateurs will be racing for overall awards.
Top three overall Masters male and female finishers will be awarded.
Sprint Distance:
Sprint Distance Age Group awards will be given to the top 3 male and female finishers in their respective age groups.
Overall Male and Female finishers will be awarded.
Overall Masters Male and Female finishers will be awarded.
Relays:
The overall team in each division will receive awards
( Subject to change based on field depth)
The Multisport Expo is an open to everyone and not just race participants. The Palmer Events Center provides a great location for registration, clinics, and the expo featuring multisport vendors.

Complimentary Bike Inspection: Is available at the MultiSport Expo as well as on Race Day

Course talks are mandatory for first time athletes and strongly recommend for all other athletes. Course talks take between 45 mins and one hour

Transition Area
This map shows the entire transition area and facilities with swim, bike, and run routes for the Capital of Texas Triathlon on May 30, 2010.
Swim & Run Routes
This map goes into greater detail of the swimming and running routes, showing the First Tri vs. Sprint vs. Olympic Distances. Water temperature is typically 78 degrees and cooler. Wetsuits are usually allowed.
