Another OOPS

It looks as though we have made another Ooops in our course marking.  The cones on the run course at mile 0.5 were not set correctly and instead of turning left when you came to Lee Barton that took you to the aid station at Jack and Adam's, the coning had you run all the way to Lamar and then come back to the turn.  This mistake added about 0.2 miles to each lap.

Swim Course measurement mistake

When the swim course was set, we made a user error with our GPS which resulted in a long course.  Seems that the GPS's unit of measurement was set on nautical miles which resulted in the length actually being .92 nautical miles which is 1800 meters for the Olympic distance event.

The CapTexTri Technology Team is hard at work updating our website due to the increase in traffic and new features for our athletes.  We've had to move the site to a more powerful server and this migration has caused some authentication and confirmation reports to appear during the registration process.  This should all be back to full operation within the next 24 hours.  Thank you for your understanding and we will keep you updated with the latest news.
