Given the advent of new, non-competitive start options (primarily the “First-Timer” and “Friends & Family” divisions), this year’s event has already attracted 25% growth in first-time triathletes.

On the other end of the spectrum, more veteran triathletes have registered with the hope of qualifying into the inaugural 2018 Life Time Tri Championship event. The top three finishers in all competitive International-distance divisions will earn one of 132 slots into the New York City event on July 1.
