The Ascension Seton CapTex Tri is proud to announce the continuation of its partnership with EIGHT Beer for a second consecutive year. Known as Austin’s premier triathlon, the CapTex Triathlon will take place Memorial Day May 27, 2024 in downtown Austin, Texas and draws athletes and enthusiasts from across the region and beyond. The collaboration with EIGHT Beer underscores a shared commitment to health, wellness, and celebration of athletic achievement. EIGHT will be available at the CapTex Tri finish line festival, where finishers and spectators can unwind in the EIGHT Beer Garden. Additionally, samples will be provided to those 21 and older at the Health and Fitness Expo at Palmer Events Center on May 26, 2024.

Triathletes will start their journey with a refreshing swim in Lady Bird Lake, then hop on their bike and ride straight into the heart of the city, with the Texas Capitol as their backdrop. And finally, it’s time to lace up those running shoes for a picturesque run through Butler Park before the big finish line and party at Auditorium Shores. The event offers rookie, sprint, and olympic distances with options of aqua bike and relays. Interested participants can complete their registration through the official website.
